PIECING 101(Beginner Quilting)
This is a five part class. Learn the basics of piecing and quilting your first quilt. We will learn quilting terminology, look at color choices and get tips on choosing fabrics. We will learn which tools to use, how to cut accurately and how to get the perfect 1/4” seam. And finally we will learn how to finish our quilt. You will end with a finished table topper to use for years to come! When the class is finished you will know everything you need to venture on to other projects. WHAT TO KNOW FOR YOUR CLASSES… * Reservations are required. Your seat will be secured with payment. * Class size: minimum of three; maximum of six (unless otherwise stated). * Bring your own food and beverage; microwave and refrigerator available. * Bring your own basic sewing supplies including sewing machine in working order. If you do not yet have a sewing machine, contact the shop about using one for the class. * Bring the supplies needed. The instructor has provided supply lists. 10% off in shop. ** Cancellation policy: Classes will be refunded up to 1 week prior to the class date and time. After that, the instructor is expecting you and there are no cancellations or refunds.
